F-Zero GX Producer Would be Open to Working on New Game in The Franchise

There are a few Nintendo franchises that even so oddly lie dormant. Were whatsoever of these missing franchises to see the light of day, they would probable perform very well, especially given the way the Nintendo Switch is currently selling but alas. One of these franchises that is crying to come up dorsum is F-Null. The futuristic racing serial hasn't received a new console entry since 2003 when F-Zip GX striking the GameCube, despite calls from rabid fans. After years of absence however, Nintendo fans have been given the faintest glimmer of promise that the franchise could one day return.

Speaking to the French Red Bull website and reported by Nintendo Everything, F-Zero GX's producer, Toshihiro Nagoshi said that "I must admit I take a lot of affection for F-Zero GX. If the opportunity were to present itself, I wouldn't mind."

The F-Naught franchise is notorious for its high octane, challenging races, something that should Nagoshi return, he would like to see continue. He said that he'd "like to make information technology a challenging game." adding "I believe that if Nintendo only wants a racing game that is 'fun and accessible', they already have Mario Kart for that purpose."

Since his piece of work on F-Zero GX, Toshihiro Nagoshi has been extremely busy with the Yakuza franchise and its offshoots. Since 2005, Nagoshi has played a pivotal role in all 10 mainline Yakuza titles (Yakuza 1-7, Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2) also as Judgement. The director has also hinted that the side by side game in the series is already in the works pregnant he's not likely to find the time at whatsoever point in the near future, should Nintendo come knocking.

Back in 2022, Nintendo stalwart Shigeru Miyamoto made an advent on YouTube Channel Smosh Games. He stated that Nintendo themselves would exist open to working on a new F-Zero title, should they come up with a controller interface that makes sense for it.

So while the signs propose that it's unlikely the serial volition be returning someday soon, it's good to see that it'south still getting some dear and attending.
